Funeral AssistanceSA helps people who have experienced the death of a South Australian family member or friend to cover the costs of a funeral. If you have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend who resided in South Australia and have exhausted all options to raise funds or obtain credit, you may be eligible for funeral assistance. Funeral AssistanceSA will cover the cost of services that are legally necessary or specifically authorised under the program. The deceased’s family or friends may pay for additional extras (e.g. flowers, memorial book, etc).
